More Information
The National Railroad Museum’s new Girl’s STEM Leadership day camp aims to bring in young women aged 9 to 15 to learn about the wonders of STEM through the lens of trains. Our camp is three days, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in which we discuss the science behind trains, the evolution of trains, the future of the world, and how trains can improve and be more environmentally sound.
A complimentary train ride will be included as well. Lunch service will be available through the GBAPS Summer Meal Program after camp at 12:40 p.m. Campers are free to bring their lunch as well.
The 3-day camp concludes with a final project in which our campers will put to use what they learned. Girls will receive a certificate upon completion.
