High-Speed Rail Design
Could high-speed rail be the next transportation solution? Sign up for the National Railroad Museum’s High-Speed Rail Design overnight program as we explore concepts behind this mode of transportation.
Participants will work in teams to model an HSR locomotive. And, to add even more fun, we will crash-test the creations and evaluate whether they measure up to the standards of the future.
The program is recommended for ages 9 and older. Group size typically ranges from 16 to 50 people. The program is offered in January, February, March and October. Participants arrive at 5:30 p.m. and stay until 9:30 a.m. the next morning.
Cost
$45 per person for overnight programming (minimum of 16 participants or equivalent payment) OR $15 per person for the 3-hour daytime programming.
