Rolling Stock

The National Railroad Museum’s collection of rolling stock includes more than 70 train cars, which are listed below according to general categories. The Museum’s Visitors Guide has a map detailing where the pieces of rolling stock are located on Museum grounds. Occasionally, they may be moved from those locations for special events or other reasons. Visitors Guides are provided to each group upon arriving at the ticket desk. Rolling stock denoted with an asterisk (*) indicates they are not available for up-close viewing (they are either in the shop for restoration or they are in closed areas at this time).
