The Great Bunny Train

April 12 & 13, 2025

The Easter Bunny is coming to town and will be spending time at the National Railroad Museum! Each admission to The Great Bunny Train includes a day of entertainment, crafts, and games for children of all ages, plus a ride on a vintage train and a visit with the Easter Bunny!

Two ticket options are available: Standard ($20) and Premium ($27). All attendees age 2 and older must purchase a ticket when choosing Standard tickets. Due to safety considerations and limited seating, no lap seating is permitted for Premium ticket train rides. For Premium, everyone, regardless of age, needs a ticket.

Due to the historical nature of the train cars used for the train ride, we may have limited or no wheelchair accessibility for the train ride portion of the event. If you or a member of your group is in need of special arrangements for handicapped accessibility, we encourage you to give us a call ahead of time to ensure we are able to accommodate your need.

Standard Tickets: Each ticket includes museum admission, activities, crafts, live entertainment, visiting with the Easter Bunny, and one train ride in the Josephine Coach or Bi-level car on the 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3:00 p.m., or 3:45 p.m. trains. Please be at the Children’s Discovery Depot 15 minutes prior to departure for boarding.

Premium Lounge Tickets: Includes all Standard Ticket benefits: Museum admission, activities, crafts, live entertainment, and a visit with the Easter Bunny. In addition, Premium Lounge Tickets include one lounge seat in the Silver Spirit (for one of the 10:15 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 2:15 p.m., and 3:45 pm trains), light refreshments, a special gift, and a surprise. Lounge seats must be purchased individually. Please be at the Children’s Discovery Depot 15 minutes prior to departure for boarding. NOTE: Lounge seating and table seats cannot be combined, as they are in separate sections of the Silver Spirit train car.

Premium Table Tickets: Includes all Standard Ticket benefits: Museum admission, activities, crafts and live entertainment … plus a private visit with the Easter Bunny while you ride the train! Premium Table tickets include four table seats on the Silver Spirit train car (for one of the 10:15 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 2:15 p.m., and 3:45 p.m. trains), light refreshments, a special gift, and a surprise. NOTE: Must purchase a table of four. These tickets cannot be combined with lounge seating as they are separate sections of the Silver Spirit. Only four individuals are allowed at a table. Due to safety considerations, no lap seating is permitted. Please be at the Children’s Discovery Depot 15 minutes prior to departure for boarding.

Members Only: Enjoy a discount on Standard Tickets by entering the member discount code (which will be emailed to all active members prior to ticket sales beginning) when purchasing tickets. Purchasers will be checked to the active membership list.

The Great Bunny Train will be held rain or shine. There are no refunds on ticket sales.
