Museum Hours of Operation:

April – mid-November

Main Building & Grounds:
Mon – Sat: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sun: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Mid-Nov – December

Nov 21 and 28: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. (first Polar Express show starts at 4 p.m.)

Nov 22, 24, and 29-30: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Nov 23: 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (closing early so staff members may attend memorial service for our curator, Paul Nelson)

Nov 26: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (first Polar Express show at 4 p.m.)

Nov 27: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (first Polar Express show at 2 p.m.)

Dec 1 and Dec 6-9: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Dec 2, 3, and 10: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (first Polar Express show at 5 p.m.)

Dec 4 and 11: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (first Polar Express show at 2 p.m.)

Dec 5 and 12: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. (first Polar Express show at 4 p.m.)

Starting Dec. 13, the Museum resumes regular hours each week: Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. The Museum is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

On Dec. 7-9, admission is $7.50 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. while our Holidays On The Rails event is taking place. The event is open to the public and features crafts, games and a visit from Santa, as well as train rides at 9:15 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 noon and 1 p.m.

Other than the aforementioned times for Holidays On The Rails, admission to the Museum is $6 per person during Festival of Trees, which started Nov. 18 and continues through Jan. 2. Polar Express tickets are not included in that price; Polar Express tickets are sold out.

January – March
