Adult Care Facilities

Looking for a meaningful outing for your residents or clients? The National Railroad Museum in Green Bay is a great fit for adult care facility group tours. For many guests, a visit brings back memories of train travel, family trips, and the railroads that shaped their communities, and it is a great way to spark conversation and connection.

We offer a discounted rate for groups from adult care facilities that book their Museum visit at least two weeks in advance.

Group Rate

The group rate for adult care facilities is $6 per person. From May through September, seasonal train rides are included in this rate. Caregivers receive free admission. All groups must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance to qualify for the National Railroad Museum group rate. Booking at least 4 weeks in advance is recommended.

Planning an Accessible Visit

The National Railroad Museum welcomes guests of all abilities. Complimentary wheelchairs are available to borrow, accessible parking is located next to the Museum’s main entrance, and nearly all of our educational programming takes place outside of the train cars. The Fox River Expansion, Lenfestey Center, Fuller Hall, and Bauer Drumhead Gallery are temperature-controlled, so there are comfortable spaces to enjoy in any season.
